THIS IS THE SOUND THE FOX MAKES, was put together at CFXU campus radio station at St.FX university. This album is a compilation of mostly young, local artists including many students. It was mostly recorded in late February, early March and released on March 22nd at a CD release show featuring Nova Scotia bands: Sleeping Machines, The Spirit Crumplers and Glory Glory.
All the funds raised towards this album directly benefit CFXU. CFXU is a hotspot on campus where students and community members can come together to celebrate music. The station is a great place for local musicians to spread their music. The dedicated volunteers and staff at CFXU work hard to make the station into a vibrant musical heartbeat on campus and we thank you for listening, purchasing or even just acknowledging the existence of this album!
